The results were GREAT! ;-) LOL!! Ok OK, so you remember Tuesday it was 637 at 10dp5dfet (yes 9.75dp but let's just round up!) so today at 12dp5dfet (11.75dp5dfet) it was 1550!! We are doing an independent beta on Monday, since the clinic only does 2. That will be 16dp5dfet. We've never done one that late so it will be cool to see the number! Also we have an early sonogram NEXT FRIDAY to see how many and sac placement. We are all very anxious and excited to see what this brings!

POAS Chronicles: 8.5dp-9dp5dfet

Here are the tests from last night and this morning! Will test once more tonight and then in the AM before beta! So many people are guessing numbers it's hilarious! They range from 250-600! No idea what it's gonna be.. I have my own guess of course! OK so here are the pics!

Flipped 5.9dp, the 9dp line is as dark as that control line!

Nice progression!

Beta is tomorrow!

POAS Chronicles: 5.5 days past 5 day FET to 6.5 days past 5 day FET

So of course we peed some more! (Well, I just wait patiently for pictures from Christy, she's doing all the peeing, HA!) Nice line progression still! We had a light test this morning, BUT we NEVER have had great results with FMU (first morning urine) we had the same issue with the Greyson pregnancy! Shoulda learned our lesson then, but NOPE! So she tested again about 3.5 hrs later and the 5.9dp test was back on track, proving that we should just leave fmu ALONE! (trust me we are DONE with fmu forever!) So here is the line progression so far! One more test tonight and then back to 1130am CST and 1130pm CST (or close to it, this girl can't hold her pee to save her life nowadays, LOL!!)

Updated to add more pics!

POAS Chronicles Take 3 So...Much...Peeing...

So since the transfer Christy has had lots of cramping, twinging and pulling going on. So much in fact that she was anxious to start POAS (peeing on a stick= TESTING!) of course I am ALL ABOUT POAS and happily ordered more and said "PEE AT WILL!" So.. I sent our tests as a joke to my friend saying "I know it's only like 30 minutes later, but we started testing. We will look for a line for real in a few days" Her reply? "Ummmm... Are you SURE these are negative?!" Now.. Here's the thing.. Christy and I BOTH thought we saw something on the tests, BUT since we are so close to the situation we chalked it up to us manifesting a line where there was none. NOW, we weren't so sure we saw wrong! i sent to a few more girls and didn't say anything and they all THOUGHT they saw something as well..

Fast forward to a few more days and a few more tests and this is what we have going on so far:

Another view

Another view, yes I know I have a sickness!

Top is 1/22 at 11:30PM Middle: 1/23 9:20AM Bottom: 1:30PM 1/23 what a progression in 4hrs! WOWZA!

Just a long way around to say...So far......WE...ARE....PREGNANT!!!! We still have a ways to go, but we are cautiously optimistic at this point!! We've NEVER had a line this early before! There are plenty more tests to come!

FINAL FET COMPLETED

Hey y'all I'm back! So let me fill you in on what has been going on:

So we decided we wanted to do the FET (Frozen Embryo Transfer) in January to avoid the stress of cycling over the holidays. So Christy was on BCP and stopped on Dec 28. Her cycle started on Dec 30th. On Jan 1st she started estrogen to build her lining up in preparation for the embryo transfer. She was on estrogen for 14 days and had her check on Jan 14th. Her lining was 15mm (YAY!!) and triple striped or triple lined or trilaminar, whichever term you know (they are all the same thing, LOL!!) which is EXACTLY what you want for transfer! So all was a go! Progesterone started that day and transfer was Saturday, Jan 18th!

THE EMBRYOS:
So we had discussed previously, that due to the many chemical pregnancies that we have had with our embryos, that we wanted to transfer our remaining THREE embryos (blastocysts or day 5 embryos). Most people would frown at this and say we are crazy. Here's the thing: I was OVER 38yo when my eggs were retrieved. After you hit 35 they consider you AMA (Advanced Maternal Age!) so I already had a strike against me. Add to that the fact that when I was 37 I had chemicals for TWO FETs. Also, the embryos that we transferred in November where EQUAL TO OR BETTER than what was left and those resulted in a chemical. And lastly, my embryos were frozen in pairs and ONE single. So the remaining were as follows:

5BB/5CB (FROZEN TOGETHER! WHY!?!?!)
5BB frozen alone.  That means IF we wanted to only transfer the two 5BBs, they STILL would have had to thaw the 5CB and refreeze it or discard it. I called the embryology lab the morning of transfer to get an update on the embryos. I was told that the two 5BBs looked excellent and that the 5CB was "fair". I asked why? She explained that upon thaw, they like to see the cells "fluffy and light or transparent" this embryo was FLAT and had darker cells.. Most times darker or dark cells indicate damage or dead cells. Since it was less than 50% it was still able to be transferred.

We were NOT able to make it to the transfer this time, since my MIL has since moved in with us (whole 'nother post for a whole different day, lemme tell ya!) and we were in TX for 3wks in Nov so hubs doesn't have a ton of time built back up for vacay.. It was all good, my BIL got to go with Christy this time and he had never been before so that was cool we all thought. OK so what you all are waiting for anyway! Here is a picture of the embryos:

Hoping and Praying that at LEAST ONE of these sticks around!

After embryo transfer! Hoping we see a LOT more of this shirt! :)

Bedresting at the hotel after transfer!
And here are a few of Greyson over the last couple of weeks! He turned 14 months old on Jan 12th! Where is the time going!?!?!?!
