31w0d: 8wk countdown!

That's right y'all we only have 8 weeks and 2 days until induction!!!

I am STILL trying to get settled and unpacked BEFORE we have to leave for TX. Feels like I'm not ready although I have the boys' room almost finished. I should be done with it in the next week to 2 weeks.

In other news the PBO (Pre-Birth Order) came in last week! We are officially official!! We actually have it via email last month but I have the mailed copy with the "official seal" in hand now!!! OMG! SOOOO EXCITING!

Nothing much new going on just UNPACKING....STILL.... It's like it will never end!

OK off to unpack some more, on a deadline people! (LOL!)

Til next time!

30w2d: MAJOR CHANGES

HEY EVERYONE!!

I am so sorry, I know, I know I just disappeared! Things have been SO crazy lately! We had a few scares with the pregnancy or so we thought. Turns out the main one was a misunderstanding with the tech that was brought in to do the anatomy scan. She indicated there was a dead or dying spot in Caiden's placenta and that she needed to inform the dr. We stressed and worried over that for a MONTH! Turns out it was from baby  B causing the dark spots (I was NOT happy that we worried for a month from her mistake!) Also they informed us that Christy has partial placenta previa. They are checking that again next visit and hopefully it has moved up so she doesn't have to have a c-section.

Here are some pictures of Caiden from the 29wk visit:

So as for the crazy busy... WE....HAVE...MOVED!

Yup, you read that right! DH wasn't happy with how things were going at his job so we sent out his resume and he had TWO job offers within 3 days. After talking to both places and even going to visit one place (we took a short trip to check it out) he accepted the offer in VERMONT! He turned in his notice at work on July 3rd and he had to start his new job July 24th! So we had THREE WEEKS, to pack, get our house on the market and load the truck and get us here and get unloaded so we could turn the truck in BEFORE he started at his new job. OMG y'all is all I can say. WHAT AN ORDEAL! During the loading of the truck we realized we had WAY MORE stuff than was going to fit into the moving truck, so we had to get a hitch AND a trailer to pull on the back of my van. Even after loading the trailer we still ended up curbing stuff and giving stuff away! We need to seriously downsize, smh..

So, we made the drive up and so far we LOVE IT HERE! The views are gorgeous and the town is beautiful. We feel like we are on vacation except we live here!!

Here are a few pictures from around town and of our rental:

23wks

Nothing much to report from our weekend, just popping in to say we are 23wks today!!! Next week is "viability" and a huge milestone in pregnancies! Just knowing that each day Caiden is closer to the point where if he was born they would try to save him is a comfort. I KNOW 24wks is super early, but at that point he is a PERSON. He matters. His life would be "worth saving" to the hospital. THAT my friends, is huge.. So one more week to go and from then on each week is just icing on the cake! In honor of week 23 I am posting the bump pic here as well!

From Saturday our bump pic day
Also the nursery is almost complete! I will be doing a post on that really soon..

AND, to any of you that did share or donate or even pray or send well wishes to my friend, I THANK YOU!!!! The goal was not only met it was exceeded!!

PARENT'S WORST NIGHTMARE

I wish this was a happy post... I need y'alls help. It's not for me.. BUT DO THIS FOR ME IF YOU CAN.. A sweet friend of mine that I have had the privilege to get to know through the surrogacy community is going through what NONE OF US as parents ever want to go through! Deborah is an amazingly strong and wonderful mother to QUADRUPLETS. Identical triplet boys and a sweet little girl. Her boys are severely autistic. She is trying to build a fence around her property to keep them safe, as the boys tends to escape the house. Yesterday her sweet Jeremiah escaped for the last time. He drowned. Her babies are 7yo. PLEASE donate, share this page, do SOMETHING to help get this fence built to keep her other 3 kids safe in their home. I wish this fence was built by now, her sweet Jeremiah might still be here if so. Let's help prevent her from living through another tragedy!! THANK YOU FAMILY AND FRIENDS... Hug your babies a little tighter today and pray for my friend...
